International Womens Day

We were proud to attend a fantastic community event this week in Derry to mark International Women’s Day, bringing together a wide range of organisations dedicated to supporting women across our city.

The event created a valuable opportunity for women to connect directly with local charities and services, learn more about the support available to them, and access important information about health, wellbeing and community resources.

Our colleagues Cassy Murphy and Louise Harkin were delighted to meet with representatives from a number of inspiring organisations on the day, including Derry Well Women, who were very passionate about the support services they provide to women in our local community.

It was encouraging to see so many groups working collaboratively to empower women and ensure they know what support is available within the community. Events like this highlight the strength of partnership and the importance of accessible services for women at every stage of life.
