Put your complaint in writing to Paul Kearney. You can email [email protected] with "Complaint" in the subject line, or post it to either of our offices:
Tell us your name, your case reference if you have one, what went wrong and what you'd like us to do about it.
Keep a copy of what you send. If you'd like to talk it through first, call us on 02890 912 938 (Belfast) or 02871 362 299 (Derry).
Paul Kearney, our founder and principal solicitor, deals with every complaint himself. Making a complaint won't affect how we handle your case.
We'll confirm we've received your complaint, look into it and send you a full written reply within 28 days of receiving it. Our reply will explain what we found and what we'll do to put things right.
Yes. Please complain within six months of us finishing work on your case or of your case being completed. If you only found out about the problem later, you have six months from when you found out.
You can take your complaint to the Solicitors Complaints Committee, which is independent of the firm. You need to do this within three months of our final reply.
If we haven't replied within 28 days, you have three months from the end of that 28-day period.
