Louise Harkin is a Solicitor at Kearney Law Group, specialising in medical negligence claims, with particular expertise in women’s health, birth injury, obstetric and paediatric negligence. She represents clients across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, offering support in complex and sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy.

Louise graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a 2:1 in Law and Criminal Justice in 2023. She qualified as a solicitor via the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route in November 2025, following the completion of her qualifying work experience at Kearney Law Group. She was admitted as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland in January 2026 and subsequently admitted as a Solicitor in the Republic of Ireland in February 2026, enabling her to assist clients seamlessly across both jurisdictions.

Louise has developed strong expertise in handling medical negligence matters from initial instruction through to resolution. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail, her ability to build trust with clients, and her dedication to achieving positive outcomes for individuals affected by lapses in medical care.
